missingWrote a review on Sept 30relaxing vibeprivate bathsgreat locationdated roomneeded updates
Had a great time with friends! The ryokan had a relaxing vibe, and the private baths were incredible. We checked out Tamadare Falls and Miyukinohama Beach during our stay, which made for some awesome photos. Just a heads up, the food is traditional Japanese, so be prepared for that.
One thing to note is that the room felt a bit dated and could use some updates. It didn’t affect our stay too much, but a few improvements would make it even better.

The experience was truly memorable. We loved the private onsen access and the traditional tatami room with a beautiful river view. The food was amazing, catered to our vegetarian diet, and beautifully presented. Ai, our room maid, was incredibly kind and added a personal touch to our stay, making us feel welcomed and cared for. It's a great spot for families looking to immerse themselves in authentic Japanese culture.

missingWrote a review on Jun 16authentic experiencedelicious seafoodshabby facilitiesneglected maintenanceinconvenient bathroom
The authentic experience here is quite remarkable, especially the delicious local seafood and beautifully presented multi-course meals. Sleeping to the sound of the flowing river added an extra layer of tranquility that made our stay memorable. However, the facilities felt neglected, with shabby rooms and bathrooms located down the hall, which detracted from the overall charm. The onsen baths were less than luxurious, lacking proper maintenance.

Perfect riverside retreat!
Had an awesome time! The onsen was super relaxing, especially at night. Big shoutout to Akane for making my meals gluten-free. they were delicious! My room had a sweet view of the river which added a nice touch. Just wish the bathrooms were a bit closer. The lounge area was cozy and great for hanging out too!

missingWrote a review on Jan 26traditional architecturefantastic foodcleanliness issueslimited yukata sizing
This ryokan offers a beautiful atmosphere with unique traditional architecture and fantastic food, including kaiseki meals that are wonderfully presented. However, cleanliness in the onsen area could use improvement, and the yukata sizing doesn’t cater well to all body types.
